Russell & Bromley's perfect party bags...

When I buy a dress bag I not only want it to knock everyone's envious socks off, I want it to grow old gracefully... And that, my fashion friends is where Russell & Bromley comes in.

Every fashionista worth their weight in tasselled loafers is sure to be the proud owner of a pair of Russell & Bromley brogues, Chanel-esque ballerina pumps or over-the-knee booties. And now, (don’t all squeal at one) it’s time to compliment your R 'n' B footwear with some seriously lust-worthy arm candy.

This red suede shoulder bag, £165, with chain detail and Laura Bohnic-style clasp is divine. Team with an LBD and stiletto heels for cocktail hour and you’re sure to be the belle of the ball. Alternatively try out the gemnstone clutch, sequinned shopper or snakeskin number.

Timeless, classic and always on trend, these bags are SO worth the investment. And what’s more ladies, with a bit of TLC Russell and Bromley's bags will last you a lifetime and we all know bags are for life not just for Christmas...

Kate Moss's Lanvin frocks for forty quid anyone?

I've unashamedly spent many an hour admiring Kate Moss's 2003 post-pregnancy debut. For those not in the know it went something like this… black slinky Lanvin frock, thigh-high slits, exquisite neck jewels and slick back hair - SWOON. Moss defined an era of yummy mummies.

So, imagine my sheer delight when I heard I could get my hands on one of Kate Moss’s Lanvin cocktail frocks for forty quid!! WOW.SERS.

Topshop are offering their customers (me, me, me, me!) a once in a lifetime opportunity for customers to raid the wardrobes of the rich and famous.

Kate Moss, Scarlett Johansson, Sophie Dahl and Peaches Geldof are among the exciting plethora of celebrities that have donated their favourite frocks to Topshop.

If this sounds like your kinda thing (realistically, what girl could resist?), then pop on down to the Oxford Circus flagship store now for a peek and fitting. The hire period runs from 7th – 23rd December, hire lasts for one day and costs £40.

And if this sounds too good to be true, it really does get better. All of the hire fees and proceeds from the auction will go to Age Concern and Help the Aged.

This is Feel good fashion at its very best! See ya... gotta dash........

S/S 2010: Ted Baker’s bird’s eye view

As I’m sure you are all aware, we work a season ahead of ourselves in the wonderful world of fashion. So, as I stood dripping wet in my now bobbly winter coat and squelchy brogues at the Ted Baker S/S 2010 press day, I was more than thankful for the fanciful escape into spring (not to mention the cream scones!).

The pretty collection was bursting with the joys of British springtime inspired by the English country side and its natural heritage. Think picnics in the park, pleasant walks along the river with your beloved, a spot of bird watching, cucumber sandwiches on the lawn followed by fizz and fun. It was British at its best.

To indulge in the above activities in true Brit-chick style, Ted says you must slip into tropical floral prints, romantic poppy prints and my personal favourite; butterfly cluster print summer dresses and cardigans (pictured). The butterfly print screams country girl in love - and frankly, who doesn’t want to embrace a little romance and nature when it’s so freezing AND wet AND depressing outside. Roll on spring.

Butterfly frocks are availble from January onwards at Ted Baker.
